The School System And True Education

I have heard my friends and most people I have come in contact with here in school say categorically that they will not allow their children go for their university education without first having some sort of exposure at home for at least a year. looking at it critically, to an extent I actually agree with this ideology being someone who entered the university without actually knowing what to expect myself and now looking at the mistakes I made earlier in school which could have been adverted if I had the exposure I now have then, most of us came into the university with the mindset ''read, read and read'' but the truth is that this educating style actually limits you.
       in all honesty, the saying "don't make the classroom your world instead the world your classroom" is very correct...if you focus only on what is being taught in the classroom you are limiting yourself to just one man's idea.To expand your horizon you need to go beyond the ordinary, add that extra, that is what puts you on an edge over your peers. that is true education

Okay before I get ahead of myself here, let me clarify that thin difference between the school system and true education and the great impact both have on individuals and the society at largely especially in Nigeria.
    Going to school has gone beyond just attending classes and reading only textbooks recommended by the teacher or lecturer.It has actually gone beyond the shores of the walls of the school environment, this is what our teachers were trying to tell us back then in high school when they kept emphasizing the need to let the school pass through you and not just you passing through the school.

True education trains the MIND,the HEART and the WILL of the individual not just the brain but sadly many of us are just interested in training the brain only. There is this very funny clause most people including myself use while complaining about the school system and that is all we are taught in school is just how to find X but the honest truth is that, there are a lot of things that the school system can not and will never teach you so while finding that X in the classroom, step out of your comfort zone and find out what is happening in the world around you.Ask yourself some certain questions like;
 what are people in your area of specialization doing??
what are you doing that is giving you an added advantage over your peers????
Believe it or not, there are serious technological advancement going on around the world in this Dispensation than ever before and if you really want to be involved in this movement you need to get informed and this information, the Nigerian school system as it is now will never give it to you so if you are planning on just basing your education solely in the classroom, I strongly think this is a time you should begin to reconsider because you are headed to becoming a half baked graduate and this is the very reason why we have many people who went to school and very few educated ones. No wonder the popular saying " A students work for C students and B students work for the government eventually". Have you ever asked why? the honest truth is that most A students (not all anyways) study very hard just to pass their examinations and not to get the intended knowledge, And let me specifically say this now that the C students referred to here aren't those group of students who don't know what the are doing in school or their purpose for life but the ones struggling with the school system and questioning the status quo and not taking everything as the are like the A students. i really hope you are getting the picture here.. try doing something useful for yourself outside the confines of the school system, read good books and articles,learn good stuffs from the social media because just like the first order condition in attaining equilibrium in the demand and supply of a particular goods and services studied in Economics, the school system is necessary but not sufficient , you need the added advantage of  true education to really succeed in this dispensation,

  I really want you to understand that school gives you a certificate which acts as a key to a successful life but true education prepares you for whatever lies beyond that door
This topic ''True Education is very broad one and I wouldn't want to bombard everything on us in a single post...let's ponder on this ones first and proceed from there.

Remember your feedback here or in my email is paramount and very important to me. I really do want to hear your opinions😍
